But as move into the new season, with new players and staff, we are extremely keen and enthusiastic to make DBFC an even better club than before.

Since the end of last season, we have held our AGM, appointed Craig Gibbins as our Club Secretary, Chris McLeod as our new Web Master, and reappointed Sue Groome as our Welfare Officer, Julia Scott as our Club Treasurer and myself as the Club Chairman. Together, we will listen to your requests, and adopt/implement in order to help DBFC become even more successful than before.

We have already entered into the Winchester & District Girls 6 a side league, which contains more new teams than last season. The current planned season opening games are on September 20^th. More details later.

We have already arranged new sponsors for some of our teams, but we could always do with new sponsors and funds for much needed equipment, so if any one knows of anyone who can help the club, then please contact one of the Committee members.

 

In the meantime, it’s back to training, which will be held at Denmead Junior School, Monday 4^th August from 6.15pm until 7.45pm, so looking forward to seeing you there.

Finally, registration forms will be available at Training, or you will soon be able to download them off of the DBFC web site, and the good news is that the fees are the same as last year.

Just allows me to wish you a great summer holiday, see you at training and do not forget to submit your registration forms into the Club before September so that you can play in the opening games.
